What do Biological Sciences graduates do?

Biosci grad graph

Many of our graduates decide to go on to graduate school or training in the health professions (medical, dental, nursing, optometry, pharmacy, physical therapy or veterinary school).

Positions in research are another favorite option. Industry, government, and universities are looking for biologists to work in chemical, food, agriculture, pharmaceutical, environmental, and medical research.

Biology students with an interest in teaching find that Missouri S&T offers opportunities for our graduates in the field of education. You can get your secondary school certification in the biological sciences at Missouri S&T .

Biology can also be a springboard for a career in health administration; law (patent or environmental); and sales and marketing (agricultural, pharmaceutical, medical, chemical, or scientific equipment).
