Students who are interested in cellular and molecular biology and genetics will find a variety of rewarding career opportunities in public, government, corporate and private agency positions.  Individuals with a BS or BA can find careers in fields such as biotechnology, microbiology, cell biology, and neuroscience conducting both basic and applied research.  More advanced opportunities are available to students who choose to pursue training in Master's and Ph.D. programs after receiving their Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences.
