Pre-Pharmacy Program with the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy in St. Louis (formerly known as St. Louis College of Pharmacy)

Accelerated 3 year + 4 year Bachelor of Science to Doctor of Pharmacy Program with the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy in St. Louis (UHSP)

Students who are interested in obtaining a Bachelor of Science Degree from Missouri S&T and in pursuing a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy in St. Louis (UHSP), may be interested in our accelerated “3 + 4” option.  A student who elects to follow this option will complete a set curriculum that covers all prerequisites for the Pharm. D. program.  The student will then formally apply for admission into the UHSP Pharm. D. program while completing their third year at Missouri S&T.  Once accepted into the program, the student transfers to UHSP to begin the first year of the Pharm. D. program.  Upon completion of the first year at UHSP, the student’s course credits are transferred back to Missouri S&T, and the student is awarded a Bachelor of Science degree from Missouri S&T.

Students who are interested in completing the “3 + 4” option should contact the Admissions Office at UHSP while in their freshman year at Missouri S&T.
